Cristiano Ronaldo, the most followed person on Instagram, bought a customised Bombardier private jet in 2025, reported at €50 million and by some outlets at $75 million. It carries his logo and his goal-celebration pose, with a private suite and shower on board.

He told an interviewer it was the most expensive purchase of his life. Bloomberg named him football's first billionaire in October 2025, worth $1.4 billion.

Even at $50 million, the jet could have saved an estimated 9,091 lives through malaria prevention. To Ronaldo, it cost what about $6,889 costs a typical American family.
