In February 2020 Jeff Bezos bought the Warner Estate in Beverly Hills from media mogul David Geffen for $165 million, then the most ever paid for a home in the Los Angeles area.
Built in 1937 for Warner Bros. chief Jack Warner, the 9.4-acre property has a 13,600 square foot mansion, two guest houses, a tennis court, three greenhouses and a private golf course. Geffen had paid $47.5 million for it in 1990.
